The full capability sheet
Everything on the truck. Nothing bolted on later.
Ten systems, one database. Every capability here ships in the platform today — no third-party patchwork, no integration coming soon.
- Service requests & jobs — guided category and issue flows with photos; one accountable pipeline from request through quote, approval and work order to invoice.
- Quote-required jobs — big-ticket work is surveyed first, quoted, confirmed, and billed at exactly the quoted amount.
- Evidence before dispatch — ask whoever reported the fault for the data plate, the error code or the photo a visit needs, before anyone is sent — so the parts decision happens off-site and one visit does the work of two.
- Materials quotes — price the parts as options and send them to whoever pays. The labour already agreed stays agreed; nobody re-approves a callout they accepted last week.
- Live job photos — before, after and document photos appear on the request as the contractor uploads them, not when the report lands.
- QR asset tags — a tenant scans the sticker on the boiler and gets a form that already knows the property and the appliance. Staff see make, model, serial, warranty and every previous fault on that unit before deciding who to send.
- Equipment records — photograph a rating plate and the make, model, serial and ratings are read straight onto the record. The registration queue then chases whichever fitted units are still unregistered with their manufacturer.
- Inspections — scheduled and run per property; findings feed straight into the same pipeline as reported issues.
- Preventive maintenance — recurring plans raise their own service requests when they fall due.
- Home insights — findings, schedules, warranty dates and expiring credit turned into plain-English advice on the homeowner's dashboard, with a monthly summary of what their Maintenance Subscription did for them.
- Service ratings — customers and tenants rate completed work; the rating lands on the request for your staff.
- Dashboard reminders — a per-person attention queue: stale requests, overdue inspections, pending approvals, unpaid invoices.
- Two-way booking — book a visit outright, or agree one: share the windows you are free and let the customer pick, offer any time you are open, ask them when they are free, or take down what they said on the phone. A time is agreed rather than announced, and either side can propose a new one.
- Team calendar — a lane per contractor and staff member: standard hours, minus time off, minus booked jobs. Availability counts free people, and a taken slot is locked for that person everywhere — including across other organisations, who only ever see an opaque Unavailable.
- GPS job tracking — coordinates captured at start, during and at completion, with hours derived from the elapsed time instead of a hand-typed number. Internal labour data, never shown to customers.
- Departure reminders — live-traffic ETA alerts telling a contractor when to leave for the next job.
- Live visit timer — watch the clock from the office while the technician is on site — time worked, how much of the included hour is left, and what the extra time has come to so far, off the same arithmetic that produces the invoice.
- Contractor portal & vetting — trades declared once, insurance, licences and certifications uploaded once; you approve or reject the pack. A lapsed document flags the contractor for re-review automatically. Work logs, photos and parts are captured on site and tied to the job forever.
- Contractor marketplace — post jobs openly, invite independent trades or other organisations' contractors, and put standing rate agreements on the table.
- Rate card — publish your labour rates once; non-member pricing is computed from your markup, so it can never drift. A job requested at a published rate is approved at that price.
- Rental properties — the property, its units, its occupants and its documents as one record the whole system reads from.
- Lease & tenancy management — the lease record, occupants, rent schedule, deposit, and lifecycle from draft through periodic to ended. UK Renters' Rights Act 2025 ready.
- Key custody — whose keys you hold, which sets are out and with whom, due back when. Kept against the property rather than the job, so the answer to "who has the keys to number 14" survives every job the set is lent on.
- E-signature — tenants click to sign in their portal; every signature recorded with signer, timestamp and audit evidence.
- Rent engine — charges generated from each tenancy's schedule, payments and adjustments recorded, running balances, and an arrears queue with aging.
- Tenant online payments — rent paid by card posts to the rent and client-money ledgers automatically.
- Landlord remittances — collected rent remitted net of your management fee, computed from the client-money ledger and recorded with the payout reference.
- Landlord dashboard — occupancy, rent roll, arrears, deposits held, and a downloadable statement of account.
- Compliance pack — gas safety, EICR, EPC, alarms and legionella tracked with expiry dates and renewal alerts, and rules that block a tenancy going live on a non-compliant property.
- Certificate templates — issue certificates instead of chasing them. Define the form once, fill it on the job, and it files against the property with its issue and expiry dates already set — so the compliance calendar picks it up without anyone typing a date twice.
- Listings — advertise vacancies on your own domain and screen enquiries into draft tenancies.
- Portal syndication — feed the major property portals from one source of truth.
- Maintenance Subscriptions — sell recurring maintenance plans to your customers, with monthly credit accrual, included callouts covering the first hour of labour, and annual inspections applied to invoices automatically and itemised in plain sight.
- Portfolio plans — one subscription covering a customer's whole portfolio, billed per property.
- Rent-based pricing — charge a percentage of rent instead of a flat fee, set per client.
- Your own payment account — your Stripe account handles every payment; we never touch your bank details or your customers' cards.
- Tax rates — named, organisation-specific tax treatments applied to job invoices and to contractor commission.
- Coupon codes — percent or fixed discounts on Maintenance Subscription signup, one-time or recurring, with caps and expiry; each signup's code is recorded on the subscription.
- Affiliate programme — approved affiliates with their own links, percentage commissions and payout tracking — alongside a customer referral programme that vests credit from a referral's real invoices.
- Lease commissions — commission on a tenancy for an internal agent or an outside broker — flat fee or a percentage of rent, vested when the deal closes.
- Sales commissions — a recurring share of a customer's monthly Maintenance Subscription invoice for whoever brought the sale in, for a set number of months.
- Supplier bills, read and billed on — upload a merchant's bill and it is read into priced line items against the supplier it came from. Each line is billed on at cost, at cost plus your markup, at a fixed agreed price, or not at all, and allocated to the job it was bought for — which is what turns the materials half of a job into a real profit figure instead of a hand-typed guess.
- Stock control — parts counted per location with a reorder level each, because a store that carries fifty and a van that carries two are not the same threshold. Every movement is tied to the job that caused it, so a shortage has an explanation.
- Accounting sync — link the accounts package you already keep your books in, so what you invoice here appears there with its reference on it. The reference is what makes it reconcile against your bank feed instead of being typed in twice.
- Books — the business's own double-entry books written from the records already here: every invoice, bill, receipt and movement of client money posted once, a bank statement matched line by line with nothing dropped, and the trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet read from those journals.
- Thorough reader — pin the strongest available reader for automatic document reading. It earns its price on bad inputs — a glare-blown rating plate, a scanned fax, a docket photographed in a van — where a cheaper one starts guessing at digits somebody then has to correct.
- Departments & roles — Builders, Customer Service, Directors, your call — with per-section access control.
- Payroll runs — scheduled settlement runs producing one consolidated report over staff salary, affiliate commissions and commission-agent commissions, paying out automatically wherever the payee is set up for it. Every payee appears either way.
- Payslips from your accounts package — read payslips from the package that runs your payroll, so a payslip shows the real gross, deductions and net rather than a figure worked out here.
- Pension contributions — each pay period's employee and employer contributions sent to the workplace pension provider you already use, instead of being re-keyed by hand.
- Push notifications — browser and mobile push, installable as your app.
- SMS — texts from the platform number, or route them through your existing business line.
- WhatsApp — the same events delivered on the channel many customers actually read.
- Branded messaging — texts from a verified sender carrying your name, logo and colour on phones that support it; everyone else gets the same message as a plain text, automatically.
- Your own SMS platform — route outbound texts through your own account and your own sales number.
- Delivery policy — in-app, push and email are free and always send. This decides, per event, whether it is also worth paying to text — a blanket profile, then exceptions.
- Custom templates — rewrite the subject and body of your automated emails and texts; placeholders fill in the names and figures.
- Real-time chat — threads between customers, tenants and staff, scoped to a property or a request, with photo and document attachments.
- Document vault — a central library of policies, templates, certificates and contracts with versioning and expiry dates.
- Audit trail — an admin-only, read-only log of who did what: actor, timestamp, before and after.
- Two-factor authentication — authenticator-app codes for staff logins, enforced from the moment a staff member enrols.
- Records export — your members, properties, requests, appointments and invoices as spreadsheet-ready files, any time, from Settings.
- Your own website — a public page at your own address that says who you are, what you do and how to reach you, edited in the portal and published when it reads right. Visitors see the version you published; the draft stays yours.
- Your domain, your brand — every portal served on your own domain, in your logo and brand colour, installable as your app.
- Your own sending domain — automated email goes out from your address, verified once from Settings.
- White label — our name comes off your email altogether: no "Powered by Moby" line, no mark. Granted with your own branding, by arrangement.
- Multi-language — each person reads the product in their own language, with right-to-left layout where the language needs it. The choice belongs to the reader, not the organisation — your Arabic-reading tenant and your English-reading office are not the same setting.
- API access — build your own customer, tenant or contractor app on this backend. Your users sign in exactly as they do in our apps, so their login still decides what they can see.
- AI assistant — let your team ask questions of their own data from an AI assistant. Read-only, and their own account still decides what comes back.
- Advanced reporting — member growth and plan mix, service volume by category and status, and revenue with credits and outstanding balances, over any date range.
